from a ‘Mitochondrion’s’ point of View

The art was created as an editorial piece in which Audra envisioned what it would be like to see the events of mitosis happening dramatically from inside a dividing cell. She took what she thought of whimsically as a ‘mitochondrions’s eye view’ looking towards one of the mitotic poles. The result is a stunning image with great dimensionality and originality.
